Integris Represents AGRIBUSINESS TRANSACTION

Integris Partners recently advised Northern Agri Holdings, a portfolio company of Lariat Partners, on the divestiture of WestFeeds, LLC, a leading manufacturer, distributor, and retailer of animal feed and nutritional products, to Ridley USA, a subsidiary of Alltech.

WestFeeds, based in Billings, Montana, offers complete feed, mineral premixes, and supplements for cattle, equine, poultry, sheep, swine, goats, and companion animals. The Company operates out of three state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities (two in Billings and one in Great Falls) as well as five retail locations throughout Montana. WestFeeds also markets its animal nutrition products through an extensive network of dealers in Montana, Wyoming, and Idaho.

Ridley, a subsidiary of Alltech, is based in Mankato, Minnesota, and is one of the leading commercial animal nutrition companies in North America. Ridley serves customers ranging from those who produce meat, milk, and eggs, to those with specialty and companion animals and niche segments from show feed customers to lifestyle farmers.

Founded in 1980 by Irish entrepreneur and scientist Dr. Pearse Lyons, Alltech discovers and delivers solutions for the sustainable nutrition of plants, animals, and people. With more than 100 manufacturing sites globally, Alltech is a leading producer and processor of yeast and organic trace minerals.

Kevin Mitchell, Managing Partner at Lariat Partners, said "WestFeeds has a long history of focus on top-quality nutrition and dedication to western livestock producers. Integris ran a high touch process that allowed Lariat to capitalize on the Company's growth and partnered WestFeeds with a likeminded business who is committed to the livestock industry."

"WestFeeds has a strong reputation of providing producers with high quality animal nutrition products," said Michael Castle, COO of Alltech. "We believe there is great benefit for our customers in our teams joining forces for the future."

This transaction, the most recent of many that Integris has completed in the Ag sector, was closed on May 8, 2017.
